I found myself immersed strolling along Amsterdam where all kinds of street art activities abound. Examining the colorful graffiti, I wondered what goes into a street artist mind while he/she paints one. Each stroke that extends in different angles and allows the paintbrush to add life into the once boring empty wall tries to say something. It can be a message that the artist wishes to exhibit at the time of painting. Whatever the reason, I prefer art as a medium of expression, a kind of release that is harmless both to the person that creates the artwork, and the gallery it is created for. While wandering about on foot and aboard a canal cruise, I took the opportunity to snap some photos. I wish I have a camera that can capture the actual masterpiece and do justice to its visual illustration. For now, I just have to be content in keeping mental images of the colorful graffiti that beautify Amsterdam city.
